  1. 12th and Vine

For real blues aficianados, the phrase "12th street and Vine" means something. In the classic blues song "Going to Kansas City" by Jerry Leiber, Mike Stoller, in 1951, there is the line "I'll be standing on the corner of 12th street and vine."  Since this track is basically a 12 bar blues form with a shuffle beat I thought it was an appropriate title. (By the way, when I was in Kansas City I was advised not to actually go to 12th street and Vine because the area has changed dramatically since the song was written and it might be dangerous.)
